[Montrose CO | June 2021 | By Lisa Rediger] More than sixty-years since the Korean War ended, Magic Circle Player’s production of M*A*S*H – a stage adaptation by Tim Kelly, will open on Friday, July 2nd, 2021.

Richard Hooker’s, 1968 novel, ‘MASH’ was the basis for the film adaptation and the wildly successful television series that aired from 1972 – 1983. The show’s season finale is the most watched series finale in history – over 105.9 million viewers. It stands that M*A*S*H – no matter how much time has passed, is still loved by audiences today

M*A*S*H stands for the Mobile Army Surgical Hospital. The large cast comprised oF newcomers and seasoned actors, has been described as the “Who’s Who” of Magic Circle. “If our rehearsals are any indication of how fun the show is going to be, then the audience is in for a wild ride!” says Director, Casey Dukeman.

The cast is rounded out by Scott Baadte (Hawkeye) and Scott Pollak (Duke) who bring the two unpredictable and beloved characters of Hawkeye and Duke to life – the two best surgeons in South Korea. They decide to wage a campaign to get a young Korean, Ho Jon to the United States so that he can become a doctor.  Their effort brings together a collection of comic adventures that will leave audiences laughing until they fall out of their seats.

“Our show is going to be an exciting and hilarious take on an old classic story – blending elements of the motion picture and the award-winning television show. I am both honored and delighted to have such a talented and funny cast.” Casey Dukeman, Director.
