March is hopping to the sounds of music in Montrose! Intrinzik starts off the month with a swing dance at 7 P.M. on March 3. They will also be featuring Shukala/El Camino Burnout/Sole Aggression on March 13, Corb Lund with Lauren Morrow on March 20, and ALTO on March 27. All shows start at 8 PM.

Over at Healthy Rhythm Listening Room, you can hear the sounds of Andrea von Kampen with Jason McCue live on Thursday, March 12, at 7 P.M. Later in the month on March 26, The Wildwoods will be performing at 7 P.M.

Other music happenings around town include the Western Slope Concert Series, “Patterson/Sutton Duo,” at the Pavilion on Sunday, March 8, from 3 to 5 P.M. The Pavilion is also hosting the VSA Spring Choral Concert, “Heaven & Bluegrass,” from 3 to 5 P.M. on March 29. The Montrose Events Center will be bringing a night of live entertainment on March 15 with an array of Hispanic performers including Montes De Durango, Diana Reyes, and Conjunto Revelacion. The doors open at 3 P.M. with performances continuing throughout the evening.

The Montrose Summer Music Series is about to hit the stage. Want to find out who will be on it? Find out by attending the 2020 Announcement Party at Horsefly Brewery on March 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. Concert planner, Dave Bowman, will share the lineup. Horsefly will also be hosting Acoustic Roots on March 28 from 6 to 9 P.M.

Like dancing? You can dance the night away at the Elks “Honky Tonk” Dinner and Dance on Friday, March 13, with dinner at 6 P.M. and the dance starting at 7:30 P.M. Or would you rather sit back and watch others dance? CASA’s 5th Annual “Dancing with the Stars” will be on March 7 with a matinee performance at 2 P.M. and an evening performance at 7 P.M. Of course, there are also Senior Dances at the Pavilion the second Saturday of every month.

On to beauty for the eyes. Montrose Center for the Arts featured artist for March is Sheryl Williams, alcohol inks and watercolor. Opening reception is Friday, March 6, from 5 to 7 P.M.
